Awe and Wonder

Our lives today are lacking in awe and wonder. We skip over meaningful moments to stay busy, be productive, and focus on inward thoughts.

There is enough beauty in this world to inspire us infinitely if we allow it to.

We are feeling stuck in this moment of uncertainty and systemic oppression that has come to us in the form of an invisible virus.

Work through it by asking yourself what creates beauty and mystery to you.

If music speaks to that deep residing love for creation, then go there.

Is there a book or prose that places you in a state of calm every time you read it.

Are you one of the lucky people who creates art in the form of dance, music, painting, taking photos, woodworking, jewelry making, or cooking fabulous food?

Spending time in nature or putting our hands in the dirt resonates on a deep level for some.

I find inner spaciousness and wonder when I do my Centering Prayer or anything with my dog.

There is no right or wrong way to find awe and wonder.

Choose to prioritize spending five minutes with a form of art or creation that speaks to your soul every day and see what shifts.

Be intentional.

Know that this time is for you to adjust the lense you have about the world right now.

As always, I am here for you to support this process if being in touch with awe and wonder is not available to you at this moment.
