You can call me Mel.
Hello, I am Melissa Baldwin (Mel), a Colorado Springs native. I have spent the past 28 years working with people and their bodies.
I am privileged to be a Somatic psychotherapist and regard it as my most profound honor.
My work allows me to spend my days being neutral as people uncover their wounding, fragility, and preciousness.
Through my work, I provide a transformative space for individuals to confront and overcome the emotions they have been avoiding, emerging with a more compassionate self-perception.
My utmost priority is establishing a sanctuary of safety and acceptance for every individual, where they can feel truly seen and heard.
My unwavering passion lies in comprehending the profound impact of trauma on our brains, nervous systems, beliefs, thoughts, emotions, and bodies.
I am deeply committed to personal growth and learning. I view life as a perpetual journey without a destination, constantly evolving and growing.
Daily moments spent in silence and meditation encourage me to learn about who I am and how to walk this walk in a way that continually stretches me to be more compassionate, seeking, and loving.
Every day i awaken I am Grateful. My intent is to be totally present in that day. And laugh as much as possible.
