Transformative Weekend Intensive

After six months of seeing Mel online, I decided to dive into an intensive session. Throughout our time together, I gained skills and realized how my nervous system would shut down to protect itself during stress. Living embodied finally

When I talk with others about my life, I like to tell them I’ve been on a 20+ year healing journey that’s included a lot of different milestones. Working with Mel has been one of them, and I believe it’s going to be one of the last, marking the end of my total healing. As for many people, talk therapy alone provided tools but didn’t get at the root issues for me. Later, I reconnected to my body through yoga, massage, and other somatic work that was needed and did bring some healing, but without any real specificity. At some point, it occurred to me I needed the two integrated, and I began to seek a capable guide for the journey.

Mel, her approach and demeanor, and even the design of her office, really facilitate the curious, sensitive work she does. She has a gift for recognizing and drawing out what’s ready to be explored. And I’m always amazed at the creative ways she uses the space, various modalities, and her intuition to invite me to explore. I’ve had more breakthroughs in a few sessions than in years of talk therapy. If you’re ready to do your work, I recommend giving her a try.

Better Than Traditional Therapy

I can’t say enough good things about Melissa Baldwin. Years of holding pain and trauma in my body and for the first time I feel hope that I can and WILL heal from the events the wreaked chaos on my life. She will, with grace and kindness, walk you through where trauma is being stored in your body & nervous system. You’ll learn how to release negative beliefs about yourself and others and you’ll learn tools for how to cope when triggers arise.
