Psychedelic Therapies

Should I do hallucinogenic therapy, new clients frequently ask me.

Psilocybin, ketamine, marijuana therapies are all the rage right now.

Therapists are charging hundreds of dollars per hour to try a therapy practice tested and used in the 1960's and beyond to some success.

I have no idea if this type of practice is for people when I first meet them or not.

I have not introduced this because I have never needed anything other than my skill of holding a room and working very mindfully and slowly with a client for trauma to be released from the nervous system.

The need for more relaxation or a sense of being not embodied has not been necessary.

I believe embodiment to be essential to the healing of trauma.

If you have PTSD, sexual molestation, growing up in a rageful family, suffered at the hands of your parents' horrific abuse, it has all been able to be healed with a cranial touch, Somatic sensing, slow movement, mindfulness, and breath.

If you are not confident about psilocybin but want to try something more inclusive and body-oriented, I recommend coming in.

Consultations are always free.
