Stillness Creates Wholeness

There is a place that we can go to and be seen, tangibly feel self-love, and surrender our ego, and it cannot be shared or experienced with anyone other than ourselves. The gift of this space is ours to hold and tap into once we have felt it.

It is not the place where after you accomplish something complex in nature, find business success, or share yourself intimately with someone you care for; it is more than that.

This place many people have experienced this in my presence, but I neither orchestrated nor created this place of stillness they found within themselves. Once this place is touched and awakened, we can tap into it not at will but know that, given the right conditions, we can share it again.

It is a place of utter healing, recognizing ourselves for who we were always intended to be and shedding tears for all the people or moments in our lives where this was denied.

Does this happen for everyone I work with? To a certain extent, the answer is yes.

While lying on the table receiving a cranial touch, not everyone can go as deep as others because of woundedness, self-protection patterns, and the fear of being still.

Those open to touching their deep wounds while having someone be there to witness and see them in all their beauty, complexity, and woundedness will have such a moment.

Healing like this is not reserved for Somatic work only. It can happen in many places but requires stillness and knowing that you, in the end, are alone.

We can crowd ourselves with people, stuff, and experiences, but ultimately, you are the only person who knows you.

The only moments that matter are those that create self-awareness and awaken our compassion. These breakthrough moments are like poetry and art; when read or experienced, the words cannot come.

Throughout time all the great purveyors of religion or spirituality ask that we find stillness to connect to ourselves and others fully.

Thich Nhat Han, Thomas Merton, Meister Eckhart, John Wu, Abraham Joshua Heschel, and many more all agree stillness is essential to our growth.

If you have talked for years and have not found the key to your behaviors, thoughts, or negative beliefs, come in and try stillness.

Consultations can happen in person or via Google Meet.
