Find Yourself this Season
As I settle in for the holidays and all the changes and challenges in this Covid world, I am drawn mysteriously more inward with my gaze.
I am a profoundly private person when it comes to my spirituality as there are so many wounds and triggers for others around religion or theories concerning God.
The conversation of God only comes up in sessions with clients who desire a spiritual consultation.
I accept that everyone is on their path to finding meaning and honor that we may not have the same vision.
I am sustaining myself during this time by listening to the Turning to the Mystics podcast and doing my Centering Prayer daily.
Life outside of this time in quiet is chaotic and messy. With a teenager home for school, clients needing a lot of support from their anxieties, and an ill pet life feels too full.
“What I find in my moments of stillness is more strength, more peace, and more breath. ”
This is my venue, but yours may be different.
What is important is that you have a place to find yourself—the nature below your everyday persona.
Make it a priority to set aside time, especially now with all the stress of daily life, piling up to gain some skills in excavating who you are.
If you do not have this, then please call. We can find your path by working together with Somatic Therapy.
